Austrian-Japanese violinist Anna Knopp is a founding member of the Vienna based Minetti Quartett.
She grew up with authentic folk music in the wonderful Salzkammergut region in Upper Austria, graduated with her classical violin studies at the Vienna Music University with Gerhard Schulz (Alban Berg Quartett) and additionally as student of the European Chamber Music Academy.
The Minetti Quartett has been performing internationally since 17 years, recently released their 5th CD and launched a quartet series at Vienna’s newest concert hall, the MuTh located in the Vienna Augarten.
She plays the “Ex Meinel” violin by G.B.Guadagnini 1770-75 on loan from the collection of the Austrian National Bank.
