Anna Knopp was born in 1982 in Ohlsdorf/Austria and studies with Gerhard Schulz (A.Berg Quartett) at the Vienna University for music. Solo Debut with the Vienna chamber orchestra under Sandor Vegh 1995. Since then regularly appearances as soloist with the Bruckner Orchester Linz and the South Bohemian Chamber Philharmonie and the chamber orchester of Prague. Masterclasses with Sir Y. Menuhin, Tibor Varga, V.Gluzman. Several 1st and 2nd prizes at National and International competitions for solo or Chambermusic (Concertino Praga, Int.Schubert competition, Gradus ad parnassum) She is founder member of the Minetti String quartett and also performs chambermusic with soloists of the Vienna Philharmonic orchestra. Anna Knopp plays on a G.Lorenzini, 1756 violin on loan from the Austrian National Bank.
